10w6d scan and heartbeat is heard, legs kicking are seen and general happiness!

As you know, I have been feeling down. Well, just yesterday really but had my scan this am and all is good!
It was my first official scan with my new OB nurse. I unfortunately met her before last year when she confirmed my no baby at 6 weeks with no heartbeat. She is a lady of a woman and the best midwife you can find in Ireland. Many of my friends have been to her through miscarriage and pregnancy so I’m in good hands.
My vaginal scans are over since last week so I arrived with full, watery belly. She popped the gel on my belly and started smiling straight away. Immediately, I heard the sound of heartbeats. They just sounded unbelievable. Fast and pumping hard. She said they are double my heart rate and she also said the head is a great shape and that having heard millions of babies heartbeats, she knows this is a brilliant one!
Then, it was blood pressure which was fine. Then lots of blood taken for hep b, rubella and iron and other things I can’t remember. She gave me recommendation for vitamin, mineral and omega oil supplement so will get that today.
I also recorded the video of the baby kicking it’s little toes out. I really need to get a nickname for the little one. Actually, little one sounds good! It’s a deal!
Nurse told me that morning sickness should be easing off, which it is and tiredness lifting after a few weeks. She predicted two more weeks of me in my skinny jeans and told me that cramping around uterus is normal due to it growing!
Feeling great. Have next scan next week and DH will be coming. Can’t wait till we hear heartbeat together.
