15w2d pregnant and ordered maternity jeans after research!

Published March 9, 2014 by ivfdream

You know I bought a pair of lovely jeans from H and M last week. They are pretty good as they look like normal jeans but have this wonderful huggy type belly band that goes right up to under my chest!

I tried on  a pair of NEXT Vintage Slim Leg Maternity jeans last week and they were even nice, in terms of fit. I was delighted I got them in my size and the lady says unless I stack on the weight, I will remain a Size Ten in maternity.

Here’s a screenshot, can’t wait to get them. I have 4 other long skirts and 2 dresses that will be plenty for my bottom half. I may have to buy a dressy pair of trousers or skirt for work but won’t do that until I have to.

I researched the jeans online and apparently the jeans that will last you the majority of the pregnancy are the full belly band so that is what I have gone for. I also like the way they hug your belly, pregnant figure and show the womanly curves and pregnant bump off as opposed to some jeans I have seen causing muffin tops and over spill. Eeek.

I have packed away all of the trousers that either don’t fit now. What I mean by “don’t fit” is that they fit but they look odd and tight and not very cool or attractive. I have also packed away a few tops that fit that criteria, leaving me with loads of tops and dresses i can wear. I think i won’t have to buy much for another while, at least till 3rd trimester so am happy with that. I don’t want to spend loads of money on things I will never wear again f this is to be our own little baby!

Feel great now that I have decluttered!
