16w5d pregnancy yoga class

Published March 19, 2014 by ivfdream

I started my first preg yoga class. I was afraid it would be lots of older women talking about weight gain, labour, lazy husbands and pregnancy. In fact, the class was made up of ladies slightly younger or to same age as me. Some have kids. Some, it’s their first.
It was lovely. Relaxing, flexing for my limbs and back and building strength in my legs, hips, thighs etc. I felt like I was exercising after not doing proper exercise since October. I gave up my running as recommended by doctors and my boot camp and my weights. I now walk 3km or more a day but that’s it. So, was great to do some weight bearing exercises. Even though, they were short and gentle!
We took a few minutes at the end to connect with the baby. I am glad of this as I really don’t believe it’s happening.
I’m tired now. Bed. No vomiting since this morning. Phew.
