31 weeks pregnant update

Published June 30, 2014 by ivfdream

It’s just too hot! Making me more tired than I should be!

How far along? Week 31

Total weight gain: 26 pounds or 1 stone, 12lbs . Put on 3/4 lbs this week.

Started at 143 lbs. Am now 169 and 3/4  lbs and am 1 lb over recommended weight.

Maternity clothes? Yep!

Stretch marks?
No. Not on my belly. But, think I can see the shiny tell tale marks on side of hip?

Movement:
Loads.

Best moment this week:
It is always the feeling movement but especially when my DH can feel and see it. We get a great laugh out of it. Went away with my mother last week and that was nice. People from my area are all saying prayers for me, even though I am not religious, it is lovely to have people thinking about me, DH and baby. It is all positive!

The cuidiu breastfeeding class was brilliant. Lady who gave the course was excellent and it was just her, me and DH so we got loads of attention and asked loads of questions. We felt empowered and confident that we can feed our future little one!

Miss anything? Being not tired and being in control of my body more. Normally, when I am not pregnant, if I get tired, I sleep or eat better but that has no impact. The heat is not helping with my tiredness but I think the next 8 weeks will be a haze of tiredness!

Belly button in or out? In but the scar from my lap, hysteroscopy sometimes sticks out when baby kicks. But, in normal mode, the belly button is staying put. I would hate it to stick out, it really freaks me out.

Wedding rings on or off: On. No bloating of feet or swollen ankles yet!

Happy or moody most of the time: Feeling tired and emotional this week but very happy. Countdown! 8 weeks!

Looking forward: Antenatal classes this weekend and next. Long days but looking forward. Looking forward to beginning the move to the new house. Fingers crossed tomorrow we get keys!

Food cravings: No.

Anything making you queasy or sick? Feeling a bit sick this week and having diarrhea.  😦

Gender: not finding out.

Symptoms: Tiredness, movements, tightening of vagina, slight breathlessness, heartburn and mild sickness.

Labour signs: no! Far too soon.
